Open for Inspection

Saturday 12th February 2011

What a huge day!!  I woke up this morning to my youngest daughter's latest compliment which was -"only boring mums know everything so I'm glad you're a crazy mum instead." I'm still trying to work out whether this mean she thinks I'm stupid and a bit nutty, I guess I can relate to a little bit of both!

We were up super early and getting everything ready in the house for our open for inspection.  Had to have most of it done before 8am when I had an appointment  for a health screening for life insurance, which thank God didn't involve any needles!!

Just to add to the excitement of our busy morning our dog decided to sneak out (and I still don't know how she snuck out) and was escorted back to our place by our police officer neighbour whose house she has snuck into.  Hubby said if she's the only girl ever to be police escorted home then he'll be happy! 

After a day full of appointments and avoiding the house while the open for inspection was on I haven't had the chance to fit in any walks today since we're off to babysit for a friend today!  Gees no wonder I'm exhausted!!  Phew I'm just exhausted reading it!!
