Kilos Lost: no weigh in today
I woke up today and instead of my youngest daughter saying good morning she said "gees mum your boobs are extra jiggly this morning!" I am still trying to work out if it's because they're getting bigger or smaller!! lol
Had an awesome day today with the fam and a friend and her fam. We headed into Chinatown to Celebrate Chinese New Year. The kids loved the lion dancing and martial arts demos. We also got some nice new things for the house to bring luck and good health. It was nice to have a happy family day and work on our emotional health instead of the physical health. I think emotional and mental health is just as important as exercise to feel good.
I have realised that to maintain my strength and positive mind and attitude I need to surround myself with strong and positive people to encourage me on my quest for health! I know I am the type of person who seems to feed off others energies (good and bad) and I felt so low for so long trying to please everyone and I can't set a good example for my kids if I can't live by what I say. I know we can't be positive all the time but I am just changing how I cope with the bad stuff to get through it quicker. I am positive I will fail every now and then but I'm also positive that I will pick myself back up again and forge ahead despite the setbacks.
I will be back onto the physical exercise again tomorrow with Zumba in the evening and some strengthening exercises after that!
