Oh what a weekend!! Not the best for exercising but awesome just the same. Saturday was taken up with the usual open houses and cleaning etc. then it was a fun night out for a friends 40th. There's nothing better than a dress up night and a laugh on a weekend!!
What can I say..... I think the zombie drag queen look kinda suits me!! lol
It was great to have a night that wasn't about work, school, house selling, health or anything else sensible that is the usual life. I'm not saying that I don't like the usual day to day stuff but it's nice to break out from the norm every now and then and just be nothing in particular. I am lucky to be blessed with friends that have the same outlook on life as me and who are more than willing to have a laugh and escape the crap every now and then.
Although it wasn't a big night on the turps and none of us were drunk I felt like I had a sleep hangover all day. I even had a nanna nap on the lounge. So another day wasted on exercise!! At least there was a bit of dancing last night and in high heels certainly is a workout on the calves!!
Hopefully there will be no rain tomorrow so I can get a nice walk in while the kids are at school and make the most of my forced retirement!!
